If you are interested in giving globally, my friend Zippora Wambua in Kenya is helping to feed, clothe, and educate orphans through her organization Blessed Peace Foundation. She is also helping a group of widows start small businesses so they can earn a living to support their children and extended families. I met Zipporah in 2007 and have recently been supporting her in addition to the Global Village Education Foundation school in Machakos, Kenya. If you would like more information about either of these projects and how you can help, please let me know. I am planning to go to Kenya the first week of August and you are welcome to join me!
