I will be attending a Hands on Assisting Workshop November 19th through 21st at The Yoga Project in Arlington, TX.  This program consists of 20 hours of hands on assistant training led by Stacy Dockins, a Certified Baptiste Instructor. 

With Thanksgiving approaching, please allow me to express my gratitude to each of you.  Thank you for letting me be on this yoga journey with you! I love having the opportunity to share this practice with you as together we enrich the lives of others across the globe.  Below is an excerpt from a recent Global Village Education Foundation newsletter:

"Because of the support of your yoga class, GVEF is making amazing strides in growing the Glory Preparatory Academy and helping the community of Machakos, Kenya.  Along with Pastor Matthew Kyalo, GPA's founder, we thank you.....This summer GVEF was honored to participate in a Day of Thanksgiving to celebrate the arrival of the new school van.  The day was filled with songs and prayers for travel mercies.  The parents, staff and children prayed for GVEF donors.  Their gratitude is boundless.  The need for the new bus was overwhelming.  Without reliable transportaion many of the students walked through dangerous slums.  Kidnapping and attacks of young children are a sad reality.  In addition, Glory Preparatory Academy reaches needy children in the mountain region that do not have access to schools.  Transportation provides access to education for those children.  This new bus has blessed so many."
